Just back from drinking with some friends, one of whom started challenging passersby to fight. I feel dizzy, maybe i laugh a little more, but i'm still reasonable and able to form sensible sentences.

Am definitely drunk. Brandy and Coke is kinda nice.

Expensive food can suck too. Lobster and mango chunks in melon sauce? Eugh.

Re-reading Coraline. Has its moments, but overrated, the hyperbolic blurbs are unfounded. Still, the movie version could be good, dakota fanning is perfect casting.

Been playing a whole lot of Bubble Bobble on the Asus. This is not why i bought a notebook computer (apparently not a laptop, manual even says don't use it on your lap) but i'm power cycling to break in the battery. Penguin Racer's fun too, and generally messing around to get used to it, but this doesn't feel like progress yet.
